For most, the holiday season has been fairly well put away and isn’t much of a consideration these days. Not for my family. Our Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Grandma’s 92nd birthday got rolled all into one last Saturday – at the tail end of January. After contending with illness, work schedules, travel schedules, and more illness, we all finally managed to get together at my sister’s in Columbus. We celebrated with fajitas and mud hens, in lieu of traditional holiday fare and birthday cake. We watched the boys open gifts and have a wonderfully silly time, like cousins tend to do. We had a great day and managed to squeeze in a few pictures before everyone was on their merry way.
