So, here we are, smack in the middle of the holidays. I’m certainly not complaining–I love this time of year. Crisp weather, twinkling lights, and the ability to listen to Christmas music all day long without judgement. However, I’m already worried it’s going by too fast. Thanksgiving has come and gone (How did that happen??) and December is well underway. All the more reason to try and stay in this moment. A perfectly timed reminder I received from our lovely pastor yesterday. Try not and let this season pass you by all stress-filled and burden-heavy. Try and keep in mind the real reason for this season. Try and do something completely selfless.
I hope that everyone’s holiday season is off to a cheerful start (which continues to the season’s end). No matter what is going on in your life, good or bad, take a moment to reflect, enjoy, and take a deep breath.
