Mini Post: Feeling Fancy

Somedays are longer than you could have ever anticipated, have you longing for you pj’s and a glass of wine by 3:00 p.m., and then take you an hour to get home.

Those deserve a little fancy. It doesn’t have to be fancy fancy, just implied fancy. Like appetizers and wine, followed by dinner and dessert. Just the words make make the food sound of the highest quality. When, in reality, the appetizer was crackers topped with meltled cheese, a dab of sour cream, and a sprinkle of fresh chives. Some of the simplest, most basic ingredients can feel fancy, it just takes the proper mindset.

Oh, and dinner and dessert were leftovers… But fabulous nonetheless.
